Care Guidelines:

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and cause damage. In lower light conditions, growth may slow down and variegation may not be as prominent in new growth, but the plant will remain healthy with proper care. Light directly influences variegation levels (light 🤝 variegation). 
• Watering: Allow the top half of soil to dry out between waterings. ‘Albo’ Monstera prefers slightly moist soil but is susceptible to root rot if overwatered. Adjust watering frequency based on the plant’s needs and environmental conditions. Consider adding silica additive to your watering routine. While the white variegated sections of the leaf will eventually die off since the leaf is inefficiently photosynthesizing due to lack of chlorophyll, silica prolongs the life of the white parts of your Albo’s leaf by strengthening the plant’s cellular walls. Silica may slow the plant’s transpiration, and the watering schedule will need to be adjusted to avoid root rot. 
• Temperature: Maintain a warm and consistent room temperature, ideally between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 55°F (13°C) as it can cause damage.
